Why are /jp/ mods so shit?
>>34636910
Because the board has literally no purpose, yet they're trying to pretend that it does.

>Why are /jp/ mods so shit?
I don't know who gave the order to enforce the "No fun" rule so heavily, if it was moot or whatever, but I really wish they didn't honestly
when your moderation actions result in dozens of splinter communities maybe you shoud step back and realize, you know, are we doing the right thing?
>post light-hearted joke
>get banned for "instigating a flame war"
used to be a much better board, dunno what happened
>/vp/ mods constantly forget about the board
>/mlp/ and /trash/ raids are almost guaranteed to happen anytime they forget
Just let me shit on 6th gen in peace

The worst part is that it's still undeniably one of the best boards on 4chan
This whole fucking site changed so much, there are very few threads where you can get the comfy IRC chat vibe you could find before, you know?
only some generals on /jp/ and a few other places are actually comfy now
The entire board is literally
-maybe one or two touhou discussion threads
-X 2hu /e/ thread
-X general thread
Everything else gets deleted. The range of topics is so constrained I wonder why I still even go there. They don't even allow one hikki/NEET thread, which to me is very much "Otaku culture"
>>34636910
the smaller boards are stomping grounds for the forumite moderators and their grovelling appointees. they can show their true colors (read: cliquey superiority complex) there without the backlash they'd get on the big boards.

no you don't understand, thread #3051 of the same 500 marisa pics is the definition of vibrancy
It seems like just yesterday /q/ was created and /jp/ was ruined forever.....
Sigh..........
http://frideynight.com/
Do you think Fridey night generals could exist on /r9k/ or are the people here too anti-/jp/

>thread #3051 of the same 500 marisa pics is the definition of vibrancy
Marisa isn't just vibrant, she's radiant! Don't you insult her!but yes it is very stale
>/r9k/ bitching about another board's lack of mods and post quality
>cuck, bbc, trap, catfish, racebait, attention whore, /soc/ threads all dominate /r9k/
>>34637320
those are great threads and you know it
>>34637320
>>/r9k/ bitching about another board's lack of mods and post quality
No, OP was bitching about the mods on /jp/ being TOO active, idiot.
>>34637320
Those are very high quality threads, please do not complain about /r9k/'s culture
>>34637320
There is a reason why I no longer browse /r9k/. I posted the thread here because I expect a /jp/sie or two to be lurking here to discuss the state of the board.
>>34637256
We already have Friday Misaki threads, and they're pretty comfy. We could try though.
>>34636910
>literal autists destroy /jp/ and /sp/ despite almost everybody on each board complaining
Boards need active moderation to some extent or everything decays into /b/, but there needs to be some kind of functioning appeals process, somebody needs to give a shit. Rules should protect communities, not destroy them
>>34637726
>sp
I'm sorry but why the fuck does this board even exist on my anime forum?
Serioiusly I could not give less of a fuck about what happens to /sp/
>>34637880
For the discussion of sports anime!
