but yeah if you just cooked it up in the pan it might be a little fishy, personally I dislike most fish save for Salmon, Catfish, Shark, or swordfish

There are way worse smelling fish, salmon barely smells unless you got it smoked.

Fresh fish doesn't have a smell. If it's that bad you got old fish bruh.

Anon, lemon and some pepper would help if you pan fry it. A bit of salt won't go astray either.

But if you want to get into seafood, try some shrimp rings with sauces and haddock to prepare your palette for the fishier dishes

Seafood is an aquired taste. I hated it, as most kids here do, but now I love it to death.

You must wait til it ripens duh, leave it in room temperature for some days and it'll get much better.
