What are some essentialy comfycore films? Movies with scenes that look like the images posted your standard comfy threads and cover themes about loneliness, isolation, and disconnect?
The main examples that come to mind are The Social Network, Her, and Lost in Translation. What else is there?

Nah man. None of those movies are real. Way too bubbly and over the top. I want things small, contained, melancholy.
>>34621634
Casablanca is a good suggestion.
Would we have better leaders if we continued to show Hercules and Xena instead of Rupaul's Drag Race?

A movie called Oslo 31 August fits in perfectly with that trio listed above, different subject matter but the filmography is similarly comfy.

Any Makoto Shinkai's movies. For example 5cm per second.
The Place Beyond the Pines. Definitely check this one out if you haven't OP, it's exactly what you're looking for. Beautiful soundtrack, top tier comfy imagery, themes of loneliness, rejection, and longing. It's a great film.

house of cards is the complete opposite of comfy, it's devoid of anything beyond surface level drama
>>34626781
You thought?
There is nothing more depressing than life and love tearing all of your dreams apart...starting with the weakest seams. The fabric of who you are, when who you are is no longer complete.
There is nothing more comforting...than fogetting.
Late Spring
0.5 mm, comfiest movie I've ever seen.
