Any other robots trying to learn how to program?

Been trying to learn python for about a month.
Still can't really do anything useful with it other than printing strings and making simple functions.

I am a professional programmer. Its easy desu

Yes. Don't worry about not being able to do much at the moment, keep studying until you have that foundation.

Are programmers, or anyone with any involvement with computer science the most autistic individuals alive?

For some reason people who study computer science always seem to rub me the wrong way, they either have zero passion for the subject and are just in it for the money, or they're exceptionally smug and full of themselves. Even if they aren't one of those two they'll still try jewing programming to everybody they meet, this also goes for non computer scientist programmers as well.

Whereas the people I've met who've studied hard sciences have been much more well rounded and intelligent seeming, especially people who study physics. I really do feel like computer science is nigger subject of STEM, even engineers seem more impressive.

Feels good having a Mathematics degree desu.

Yeah I pretty much stopped using codeacademy once I couldn't figure out how to build games to pass the course.

Best I was able to do was print lines and do basic math. I'm good with computers like tech support but once it comes to actually making a program/script do something, I'm lost.

Command line is easy at least since you just look at the command list for the program and it's all just 1 string of commands to get what I need.

I'm sort of the same way. Good at dicking around on computers just from years of experience but I'm a terrible learner especially when it comes down to forcing myself to focus on a course/manual.
I've got porn to sort but can't figure out Python for shit.

I think it's the grade aspect of it. Everything I learned was also just fucking around and following tutorials. Was always fun experimenting not worrying about failing an exam. I replaced my HDD with an SSD, and upgraded the RAM on my laptop. Easy stuff but someone with no experience wouldn't know half of this shit and would just pay someone else to do it for them. I'm pretty sure I could build a PC if I had the money for all the parts I wanted.

Still can't get a job in IT because no certifications or degree and 7 years of personal experience at home with troubleshooting my own problems and family computer problems can't be verified without a reliable reference from a previous job.

JUST

I'm only doing JS and Python right now and it is so fucking easy holy shit. We're lucky to be alive right now because this menial work makes you thousands since boomers are still in power and don't understand shit about technology so they pay top $.

I have no passion for it though, and it will inevitably be replaced by complete outsourcing to Chinks/Indians in 20-30 years but I'll have my wealth by then.
>>
No wonder so many people give up on programming if the first things you're making are just fucking text prints and doing math formulas

The fun stuff is fixing things/ making actual things happen. Games are a great way to do this, usually modding.

You gotta be like "I want there to be a city building aspect to Factorio" and tackle it like a tard, learn your lessons in scope, make smaller mods projects, work your way up and do something different but ultimately just as big

Idk

I scripted on fucking Roblox that's how I learned by accident

I'm taking an intro to computer science course for Python right now in college. It's pretty fun.

It's not that easy.

That's the equivalent of chad saying just be yourself.
>>
>>34616986
tech support and programming both basically come down to being able to google solutions effectively.
>>
I was trying but I think just retarded. None if it sticks. I don't even want a well paying job anymore, what's the point. I basically spend barely any money anyway. All my hobbies are free and im too autistic to care about my looks. Minimum wage Is enough for me. I want nice easy, repetitive work that I can do on auto pilot.

I know that feel.

I realize that like height intelligence is heavily influenced by genetics and leads to having capabilities that are not held by those who do not posse the genes that result in having those physical qualities.

I try to convince myself that simply being alive and not being (i hope) mentally retarded means i have the adequate biological capability
to do what everyone else can do.

But i know it's not true.

I've learnt the C syntax and currently messing with the SDL library making GUI application, unfortunately it's primarily made for games which I'm not interested but there aren't any good cross-platform GUI libraries in C
