For around 6 years I couldnt step out of my house to go literally ANYWHERE
then I finally decided to go to the gym
it really helped that when I started, I made sure to start at a time where all the fatties and weirdos went, and no women
now after 1 year of going I feel confident with going at any time, and even got some compliments from some chicks

Pretty much this. You could also try making friends with people you meet at bars/clubs. Then you hang out with those friends who probably know girls and there you go.
The same applies to volunteering somewhere.
It's hard but it's the only way if you aren't in school or don't have a job.

I've met pretty much all the friends i have now by going to concerts alone, then after some time, i talk to someone I've seen at multiple concerts, or someone will do the same to me. I started going to concerts alone, and now its rare when i don't know someone at a show.
