Yeah it's bullshit. My old therapist just tried to tell me to hate my dad and it's all his fault, she was projecting her own hatred for men basically.
She was terrible, just made me feel weird and awkward. I quit that after like 2 sessions.

I once called the suicide hotline for jokes and ended up telling them everything because I was drunk.
They don't actually help they just tell you exactly what you expect them to tell you (Just make friends just go outside more)

A good therapist/psychiatrist tells you the things you don't want to hear and serves as a way to help you understand the root of your problems so they can be remedied.

have you ever been to a good therapist? that's not at all how it works. they usually talk to you about specific problems and work on them through various exercises over time. of course they're going to be positive people because its good for the mind, but a good therapist doesn't spoon feed you shit.
