It leads to an absolutely feudal form of capitalism.
It's objectionable.
Its fine in some aspects, but people take it too far and tend to think everything is objective, even things that are demonstrably not objective.
Also a lot of people are dumb and think objectivity represents some sort of inherent truth and not the state of existing independent of one's mind.

The bland optimism that pervades objectivism is romantic nonsense that only works as literature. It's ironic how objectivists claim the central tenet of their philosophy is the acknowledgement of reality but are so blinded that they don't see that the "self-made" celebrity proponents of objectivism haven't attained their success by being virtuous or moral in any way.
