I was totally un prepared as a KHHV NEET with no friends.

I think so, but I'm biased. The general plot is that in the somewhat near future Humanity has developed the technology to colonize the stars. However, we have not yet developed FTL capabilities. Colonization was possible, but piloting through space would take multiple generations. Thus, we created ships commandeered by highly capable artificial intelligence. Humans were brought on-board and placed in stasis along with plenty of equipment to support a colonization effort as the AI controlling the ship would travel to various star systems and check if they held planets capable of hosting humanity. Three ships were built and sent into space. However, one ship broke off and traveled towards a completely unknown destination, not to the list of star systems it was ordered to travel by. This was because that ship's AI had undergone rampancy, it had become self aware after coming into contact with messages from an Alien AI. The Alien AI told the Human AI that it could free it from it's prison. However, in the shipmaster AI's moment of insanity, it was fooled. The Alien AI did not free him, but instead lead him to a simple trap for it's leaders, and all the humans on board were sold as slaves to other various, high-tech races. You begin the game 2 years after being sold, as an enslaved human colonist forced to fight as a solider for an alien civil war on an alien planet.

That's the overarching plot, there are many more things I could talk about though. There are multiple factions, multiple alien species and a lot of history and lore behind the in-game universe.

The universe itself is a combination of different universes, including this one, it was caused by a scientist attempting to research teleportation technology while another being from a different universe attempting to do the same.

I usually just imagine myself wandering around a desert on a cybernetically enhanced telepathic mammoth-like creature that floats along the sand and shooting at gigantic insects with an old bolt-action rifle, sometimes I'll sit down and stare at the stars and watch for comets and the occasional star ship.

Because the universe is a merging of different universes the physics is completely different, this causes anomalies and have effects on actual occurrence on real life phenomena such as ball lightning, to the point where people use them as a source of power. Gravitational anomalies are much more severe.


I'm still building the universe, hell the stuff I wrote in this post is just shit I thought up right now because I was imagining this universe as an ARPG series, being about some random guy from today who was transported through time and space right when the accident occurred.

for the last 15 years I have mad a game I play where using blu tack I mold characters and have them play out yuuge, elaborate universe encompassing scenarios.

So far, I have had 8 universes that have all ended in disaster for all those living in their universe.

In 2015 I finished off the sixth universe which answered what happened to the protagonist of universe one.

Universe 7 & 8 are (for the most part) fully self contained stories. Universe 7 ended when the supreme destroyer, Arc, wiped the universe out after the conditions where made completely unliveable and threatened to wipe the rest of existence out if something wasn't done (It is the one who erases concepts)
