Black metal has been my favourite music for the past couple years. I particularily enjoy Quebecois bands like Gris and Sombres Forets.

They use more traditional instruments/singing additionally to the modern ones and they're thematically mostly about medieval stuff and folklore

Been listening to atmospheric black metal pretty much non-stop in the past month or two. Hardy recommendation to Saor here.

It's all about the negativity, most people don't pick up on it. Their music is outstanding tho imo, even as they broke away from the BM sound, but the hatred is trve.
