So what, are you afraid that this whole thing might be a delusion and you're just killing yourself? That's sad, but I guess I could understand those fears. But would you rather live with the regrets of forgoing the salvation and condeming us all? Is what you should ask yourself I guess.

That is exactly what it is.

But yes, I feel like this mission is of such importance that even if it were not real, I wouldn't be able to live with forgoing it...

The fact it's tried to prove itself to me so many times (including me writing the note next to someone who'd then double-register) makes me feel I can't back out now.

I suppose at this point it's logically the best choice to just do it. If I do it, and it's true, we all win. If it's not true, it's a slight loss. If I don't do it, and it was true, it's a gigantic loss. If I don't do it, and it wasn't true, it'd be a slight loss. The best option here'd be to do it.

I should stop doubting myself like this and man up.

That might be for the best. I might suggest that you pick something that's hard to back out of as an "an hero" method. Like a running jump off a tall building roof rather than trying to cut yourself and calling the hospital out of instinctual fear halfway through. At least consider it if you think you might lack the resolve when it comes to the 1st of july.

I just hope you end up happy though, since you gave me hope that things will get better.
