aspiring musician & music producer.
I used to play the flute, violin, piano and guitar.
It's been a decade and a half if not more and I forgot everything: how to play, how to read sheet music, how to even hold the instrument and where to place my fingers, etc.
Well, one way to look at it is I get experience all that for the very first time again.

I recently joined a band for guitar, haven't done much we've wrote a couple songs so were not really ready to record or play shows yet.

Been a pretty serious musician since middle school. Guitar and piano. Was a jazz performance major for a couple years in college before switching majors. Gigged with a lot of local bands in my 20s. Now I'm in my 30s and have kind of lost the passion. I can't seem to write anything that holds my interest anymore.

I play saxophone. I also write some music, but I'm pretty bad at it. I have some files of 8bit music I'm writing for a video game, if anyone's interested. Its pretty bad, but I guess suggestions are always nice.

I haven't played in public since June and I'm not currently in any groups but I play trombone and bass guitar. Trumpet too, but I don't really enjoy it, the mouthpiece is too small.
I play all manner of instruments. Right now I'm in an experimental progressive band, and I play bass guitar, keys, and alto sax. We're hitting the scene in my local city like a shitton of bricks. Hopefully we can make a name for ourselves so I can be comfy playing and performing music for a living.
In the process of teaching myself piano

I started playing trombone in 6th grade and played through high school. I wasn't great, but I was pretty good. At least good enough to earn myself a seat on the high school jazz band when I was in 8th grade, and then a seat in an honor band in high school. Haven't played in 5 years though.
I also play a little guitar, at least enough to be able to improvise, and I also got into electronic music production when I was 15 and have recently been working on boom bap stuff.
I gotta say I really miss playing and being in a band though, and I really regret selling my trombone for rent money.
Bass player. Getting harder to keep loving it though.
Side note, I've played with a bunch of Alums from Maynard's band. They always said he was a good guy.
