I see people on here use this phrase from time to time.
What does it mean? How do you not have a personality, that thing that makes you, you.
Is it more of just being quiet and shy so you don't get to show off your personality enough, leading you to believe you do not have one?

I'm autistic and shy so I don't interact with people much, leading them to believe I am boring/without personality even though I know tons of shit, have hobbies, read, keep up to date with popculture/news, and have decent outlook on life.
I can't help but feel you are the same way.

It's a little bit like this. But even when I do open my mouth the only thing I think is "what do I say now?" I feel like a blank chalkboard of a human. Nothing makes me laugh and the only thing that could possibly get me to conversate is vidya and anime, but I'm sure once I start speaking the only thing I would want is for the conversation to be over.

I feel mainly like an item that has no say on anything, someone who cannot express what they are feeling properly, someone who just does things for people and nothing else, like the quiet person usually seen at a job that follows his bosses orders with nothing else to say.

I'm exactly like you. Never had a friend on the internet because of my boring personality. We could be friends if you want, I'm a girl too but I still hope you would want to be friends with me. Maybe we'll get along really well because of how similar we are. I am not only "that guy who is always alone" but also don't know shit about anything, have no hobbies, don't read, barely keep up to date with popculture/news, and am depressed, cynical and pessimistic
