Can you just unlearn all of your beliefs about what's good and bad and become a sociopath?

become a Machiavellian and realize that morals are just memes used to exert influence or control over people.
But, ofc, as a true Machiavellian, keep projecting yourself as a moralfag onto others. Don't become an edgelord with your newfound ability.

So it's possible to just change my entire thinking and outlook? I still believe that being a person with strong morals and being virtuous is a good thing, acting in the way that benefits the most amount of people, etc, but I also recognize that I'm a failure in life so far because of it. I'm too concerned over people and have too much empathy to the point where it's stunting any progress I could ever have. Is there anyway for a person to somehow stop believing what they believe?

That's done by reading books desu.
Wikipedia articles aren't as mind-altering as getting into a philosopher's teachings and then reading his works.

No. You can be a sociopath wannabe, but at this point in life, you'll never truly be one. You can work being stronger though, learn on standing for your beliefs without caring for others opinions.
Post on 4chan and you'll quickly turn into a psychopath/pedophile.

You just need to truly recognise that morals can and will get in your way at times. You do not need to reject them all outright, instead just recognise and push aside the ones directly in your way.
