2 years lifting. Started noticing huge difference getting it on by older women. Younger girls are mostly too shy to say anything but they'll stare into my muscles and I'll have to snap out of it. Co-workers always seems to make comments and people sometimes ask for advice. Hasn't got me laid yet but trying to fuck a co-worker. Has vastly improved my mental health though.

I work in a restaurant setting and have to wear a fairly tight shirt and always get comments from the older women hitting on me all the time. They'll say shit like "is a gym membership required to work here". Or when I ask them if they any anything else they'll say "nothing but you hot sauce". You will get strength anyway just from linear progression, really fast. That is, if you eat enough to recover and build.

PPL is pretty easy, and requires max of an hour + in the gym. Later on, as the weight goes up it will take more time to recover during sets.

I used to be somewhat fit but went too heavy and now my back is fucked for life. I was in the best shape of my life when I didn't even go the gym but just worked in retail. Walking 40 hours a week and constantly lifting things got me lean. These days I just lift light. It ain't worth the risk going heavy.

I guess I started lifting because I was looking for a solution to my interpersonal problems. It didn't help of course. If anything people were even more confused by me when I looked like I should have been confident but wasn't at all. Overall though being in shape feels a lot better than being overweight or skinnyfat. I just think people are doing it for the wrong reasons and the bodybuilding culture is toxic. If you are doing it for health reasons, you can only benefit.

I have some upper body muscle but also a gut from booze.
Some grills are more polite to me now, in another 6 months of lifting that number will increase again.
My Thad (not full chad) housemate has the gym in common with me and we get on easily and I can go out to normie places like bars and the like on occassion with him and all his friends if I want to up my social position somewhat.
That's about all from an external perspective. Internally it makes me respect myself more, I'm more proud of myself and I sleep a little better and diet better in general so health gains. I'm dyel by /fit/ standards of course and I only lift twice a week atm because my legs are too fat as is so I skip leg day.

I'm skellymode fit and I work as a programmer. Because of where I work normies think I'm /fit/ even though I've been lifting for 4 months only. It gives me more confidence but it doesn't cure autism and that. Also I feel like it takes up too much time and I would rather just game. Go to the gym once a day if you have lots of time, but work different muscles each time. Leave a day or two between exercising the same muscles.

It takes maybe 3-6 months for results other people will notice, but after a month or so you'll definitely feel yourself getting stronger.

I started going to the gym about 4 years ago, been taking it seriously for 3 years. I'm 6'4 and was pretty out of shape but I found it fairly easy to shed off the little bit of fat that I had, after I reached skinnymode the real struggle started, trying to build muscle. As someone who is tall, my calorie demand is much higher than the average person, so building muscle takes much more food to produce results.

After I leaned how to eat properly for my body type I started growing like a weed and fell in love with the gym and my body. It really did change my life, staceys would notice me and compliment my physique and people just generally responded better to me after I got /fit/. I got a high paying job which I was under qualified for but the boss "had a good feeling" about me. This new found confidence had landed me a job I never In my wildest dreams thought I could do.

So in short, being /fit/ gave me the following:

Honestly I lift because I enjoy it. People who don't are generally useless and their opinions should be discarded. In a perfect world they would be rounded up, grounded and fed to us lifters in a paste for the protein and nutrients.

Also, even guys with legit genetics don't see actual progress in short time periods. The majority of noob gains are neurological adaptations to begin with.
