Pretty much, SSRIs are among the easiest of any prescriptions to get.

Just say you're depressed, having suicidal thoughts, having panic attacks...

A regular (family) doctor can prescribe any antidepressants, you can request to see a psychiatrist who are more knowledgeable but if you just want the prescription they aren't required.
