Demographic displacement is only a problem when people are tight on cash. Why? Because they look around and wonder why they're tight on cash, see a bunch of mexicans, muslims or polish people depending on where you are and think 'it's them'.

That's even if they actually see one in real life and not just on the TV, because the most racist places are often the least diverse, most economically depressed areas, rather than cosmopolitan areas which are the least racist, most diverse (and often, most affluent).

Moral degeneracy is harder to define as it's subjective to your moral perspective, but crime correlates very highly with poverty and low education levels, and outright immoral behavior (doing something wrong even when you shouldn't need to) has been linked closely to being affluent or being in a position of power.
