I started shortly after my 20th birthday after it took a friend talking me out of going kurt cobain on myself. I started off wanting to pass as female, but had the mentality where id settle for looking like a cute guy if nothing else. Thankfully, I pass now and life is a lot better, i still have self confidence issues, but things are getting better day by day. Also, I didnt have much trouble finding relationships before transitioning. Apparently I was at least somewhat attractive as a guy, since girls always asked me out first, but idk
