Take a year or two off, you'd be surprised at the average age of most people in upper level classes. Most of them are coming back to school after dropping out or taking breaks.

If you just graduates hs, it is so worth to enter college now. Everyone is your age and rediscovering themselves. You enter the world of college like its a different realm. If you were to take a 1 year break before college, I would recommend getting as muscular as possible and pull in all the freshmen since your competition is other freshmen guys who are for the most part skinny and fat.
