i have a q!
today my comp & phone broke.. i had to buy a new comp but someone is transfering data from new to old. as an extra service, this person "steel" was going to backup my data to my external hd, too! there's a PW on the HD and i forgot its my pw thats very private & important. if this is something i use for another thing, should i tell him? i don't want to have to change my other pw, nor do i want it in the back of my mind. note that he also really likes me apparently. i trust comp repair experts, but if you are one yourself, would you give them the pw so they can do an extra backup for you or just say nvm its okay?
thank you!!!!! *prayerhands* <3

I'm sure a computer repair expert would routinely clone a customer's hard drives just to peek around. I've heard a lot of talk about it that's what they do
fuck off roastie

Im asking do you give your master password to your comp repair techie?
He was asking me out a few times but I cannot and will not .... do you think i shouldn't tell him or does it not matter?
I just dont want him to check on my accs (ofc my pws are all varied and I'd change them if he had it), but if I intend on not keeping in contact afterwards, is it okay? What do you think is best,?
