Yep, I feel like it is exactly like the movie the matrix. You cannot just go around redpilling normies because they are hopeless inured to their controllers and will fight and die to preserve the lies they are enmeshed in. It's simply because of your circumstances. We're all naturally pre-occupied with immediate concerns and what can rationally be considered a concern from our perspective.
It's like how someone that is hungry and wants a snack doesn't care about doing a math problem in a foreign language to solve a business problem of a company they don't work for. This makes your problems seem more pressing and other things insignificant. Everybody experiences that to an extent.
