So what you're going to want to do is read the first chapter of your textbook and memorize all the key information.

Next, whenever the prof asks a question to the class, eagerly raise your hand by bouncing up and down in your chair. If the prof picks you, then answer the question, and after you're done, give everyone a satisfied smile (close eyes, wide smile with closed mouth) and make sure everyone sees you.

Repeat this a few times, and everyone will know you're a knowledgeable, friendly guy.
