Just watched Taxi Driver.
Is this the most robot film ever?
how do people think that movie is good?
weird 80s garbage/10
>>34502934
not necessarily but i really liked it nontheless
The double (2013) was pretty robot.
Check out Buffalo 66 you will not be disappointed.
>>34502934
Yes, I felt him so much.
>>34502966
it was made in the 60s faggot how do you not know this
>>34502934
No. Travis is 10x more alpha than any robot here dreams of being
>>34503260
wow yeah im fucking stupid, i apologize.
ive only seen it once, didnt get it, and walked away genuinely confused as to how it won so many awards and is considered to be this amazing classic
I didnt get Taxi Driver at all. I had to look up an analysis before I understood what all the metaphors and underlying messages where about.
>>34503329
watch it again or don't share your shitty opinion
>>34503329
man you're fucking stupid, i got some beachfront property in arizona to sell if you're interested.
>>34502934
No, it's a movie for pseudo-profound failed normies.
A dumb loser with no redeeming qualities fails at everything and arrives at the conclusion that he must not be satisfied with life because he's just over people's heads. He then goes postal over a tunnelvisioned issue and accomplishes nothing.
Total crap, would've been my favourite movie when I was 13.

>he has a gf
book was better
>>34502934
No, punch drunk love is.
>>34503329

Much more a /pol/ movie
Travis still has a job and is considered attractive, his somewhat psycho persona even makes him more attractive to women. A big part of his motivation was to clean up the streets of degenerates which had a racial component (the gangsters in the script were originally niggers pimping out young white girls.)
It would be difficult to make a film about robots because there is no real conflict or drama, we just drift through life avoiding contact posting on the internet, being rejected and put down whenever we try.
>>34503854
I got the feeling from Travis that he has no idea what is right or wrong, and goes by what he thinks people will appreciate
>>34503926
when interacting with people he wants to impress yes, but he reveals his own thoughts in narration and body language
>>34503260
It's actually from 1976.
Punch drunk love
Lars and the real doll
Falling down
Think those are some great movies with characters that are highly or somewhat autistic.
Napoleon Dynamite?
