Any Truckers/Bus Drivers here?
Trying to get my CDL and will be taking the written exam soon.
Be honest, is the test full of retarded trick questions and stuff? Need at least 80% to pass so I can't really get too many questions wrong. I took the practice exam online and it was a joke, but people say its pretty much worthless for getting you read for the real deal.
Not that many trick questions. Just don't skim over the book, actually take the time to study and read it carefully. Some states require a decent bit of wait time if you fail it the first time.
gotta be 21 to be truck driver yeah?
don't see anyone that would hire 18 year olds

yeah I think so. I'm 19 and was thinking about doing it over the summer but I wasn't old enough

man that's a shame
could have used the money and been comfy on the road for a few years
I drove a box truck around town doing deliveries a couple summers ago when I was 18, I didn't even realize I needed my CDL. It was a comfy job, my boss did not give one shit

Reading the book is a waste of time. I read it front to back several times, but the actual test still tripped me up with the way its asks questions. Had to take it 3 times before I finally passed.
I think they do it on purpose to cull the general population from truck driving since you don't have to be particularly smart to do it.
