As i child and throughout my teen life i was very sheltered and my parents tried very hard to keep me away from violence, always talked about how evil strangers are, bullies i will find if i dare to venture out in the real world. My parents come from fucked up violent backgrounds. I was never allowed to hang out with friends or have dates (i am a male). I am 18 now in my last year of high school and i feel i missed out on alot of life experiences i couldve had. The whole fucking sheltering just made it so i devolved a addiction to gore/shock sites on the internet and i frequently watch cartel torture videos and rape porn. After graduation i want to join the Marine Corps infantry but my parents do not approve of this at all and talk about how i will be "sent to war" (that is actually what i want) and that they will yell at me n shit. Ive been suspended from school a few times and once temporarily expelled for pulling a knife on someone.I have few friends because i am ashamed to admit that my parents will be watching everything i do. At school i skip classes to get high, i lack confidence but despite never being allowed to play sports in the past, i bodybuild and i am one the biggest guys in my school. (Parents actually try to limit the amount of weight i lift and prefer me to go planet fitness rather than LA fitness but i dont listen on that one) I wont get a gf if everywhere i go i will be followed and monitored. How the fuck will i make it? Should i just one day skip school completely to enlist in the Marines? Will i really continue being a virgin until i move out years later in the future? i feel inadequate as man.

You need a diploma to join.

DEP does not require a diploma. Enlisting does not mean you are to be sent right away, it puts you on the list of people who are to be sent to the military. I would be sent right after finishing high school this way.
