>tfw attatchment to inanimate objects
Anyone know this feel? I want to get a new laptop because mine is 8 years old and has a fried gpu but I'll miss it.

You can still keep it as an extra. I'm the same way. Old clothes that are too small, games/cds that don't even work anymore etc. I still miss furniture I threw out in 2008. Still have 2-3 broken laptops I don't have the heart to get rid of.

Same here familias
I think it has to be with the fact that I can't really form strong attachments with most people so instead I form them with stuff. Pretty sure it's a sign of hoarding, although I'm not a hoarder myself. I couldn't ever see myself keeping piles of literal junk.

Keep the thing. Probably won't be able to sell anyways.

Isn't this how hoarders are made?

I used to be like this with all kinds of stuff.
Now I hardly have any possessions at all.

I'm like this with clothes
I probably inherited my grandpa's hoarding gene.

I lost my whale toys when I was in second grade. I was devastated, cried the whole way home.
I cried a lot when I was a kid
