i can't remember the last time i used a hobby to connect with a girl.

your hobbies (interest in philosophy lol) shouldn't be used to attract someone. if somebody likes you, then they like you. i don't believe in appealing to someone or getting them to like you because you're just forcing something that wasn't a natural attraction to begin with.

what works for me:

>not dressing like a tryhard (attended college wearing joggers/crewneck longsleeves/comfywear and still got laid.)
>non-cringe sense of humor
>own a car (got laid w.o one too tho, just far less than when i started driving)
>treat girls like a friend (can't stress this enough. idk why but if you show next to no interest, you'll boost your chances of them actually feeling you. keep in mind that the average female gets hit on a billion times a day. by being the one dude who doesn't fall at their feet, you're already different.)
>don't have any expectations of the other party. just because you are doing things the "right" way doesn't mean you're gonna get ass. don't look at sex/relationships as a destination cause you're just gonna ruin it for yourself. it's a lot like how job-searching is painstaking because there is a hiring process and you could make it through every step just to be rejected at the end. you were looking at the destination rather than just taking it for what it is.

tl;dr just don't be autistic and you'll be fine. girls are cool and all but a career and having your own things is nicer. get the essentials squared away at the whole relationships/sex thing will feel like cake.
