I'm pretty sure I could land some pretty sweet job, since I've won a fairly high number of competitions (nothing big, but enough to land a job in minor orchestras), yet I'm completely aware of the fact that I would either quit it or become suicidal after a couple of weeks.

There is truly no place out there for me. The best I can do is keep staying in my bedroom, practicing costantly and composing.

the worst part is being aware of how dumb you are. i'd rather be blissfully unaware, plodding along at my own pace without giving a shit. instead i see where i should be but will never be able to get there and it's so painful.
