It doesn't get better. I was a complete "failure" and decided to improve myself. I turned my grades around, I worked for a few years, I went to a top 15 law school, I got a job as an attorney, I lost 50+ lbs and started playing sports, I dropped vidya...
I still can't get a girlfriend. I go out to events, mixers, happy hours, socials, bars, concerts, etc, I go up to girls and talk to them, but nothing ever works.
I'm giving up. My only motivation at this point is to carry on my family lineage, so I'm looking at surrogate mothers/mail order brides.
I don't know what else to do. I thought I was depressed before, but this is a new low. I thought I was attractive, athletic, made six figures, have a new car, etc but no one has any interest in me.
I was talking to a girl tonight at a Christian concert, she was sitting alone reading a book so I sat next to her and started up a convo, and we had a good chat, she was giggling a lot. We exchanged names and I thought we really hit it off.
Then on a song break a guy comes up and says hello and she got up and hugged him, and he asked if she wanted a drink and they left to go to the bar, she didn't even say goodbye to me. So that's it, fuck it, I'm done.
To top it off, I just got an ingrown toenail again. Hurts like a mother fucker.
