How much weight do you think this fugger could hold?
>>34459241
Not enough to hang yourself if that's what you're wondering.
Unless you are a child.
>>34459282
i cant imagine OP doesnt have 5 bucks for some rope
Congrats on your fitness plan! I'm sure that will be great for pull-ups :)
>>34459345
Not if it can't support me.
probably only enough for a small child, those things will slip off a wall super easily.
>>34459241
About 10 lbs. My cat broke one off the wall and she weights 12.
>>34459389
Even though it's bolted down tight af?
>>34459414
>Bolted
Those are wood screws that are, at best, anchored into a 2x4. More than likely they're not anchored at all.
>>34459241
It's not meant to support people if that's what you're wondering. Just use a doorknob, dumbass.
>>34459443
I can't do pullups on a doorknob, dumbass. Even then, how would you prevent the rope from slipping off?
>>34459478
Oh alright. I assumed you were trying to hang yourself. Just get one of these doorframe bars. The only cost ~$10. I've had mine for years and it hasn't failed me once.
>>34459528
Right. But because I'm curious, answer the second half of my question.
>>34459621
It's a fairly common exit method in prisons and in 3rd world homes. What you're doing is basically sitting on the floor at just enough distance for your body weight to sufficiently tighten your noose. It works the same way as all suspension hangings.

I remember this from The Wire and I didn't know it was a real thing. Noted.
>>34459770
I don't get how that would work, though. Once your body starts flailing, the rope flies off the handle and you're left with permanent brain damage.
>>34459967
Knotting. It isn't only for dogs.
>>34459994
Makes sense.
