yep, i had them starting when i was around 8-10 and continued into my early teens

since i was really into aliens when they started i thought i was being abducted, really scary shit for a kid. apparently it's pretty common for people who experience to think the same thing

i'm pretty sure it's where my sleep problems started

I've felt that suffocating feel before too when I had sleep paralysis on the couch, feels like a 300 pound fatass is sitting on your chest.

Hope that's not the case, also forgot to mention that u heard high pitched gurgling sounds right next to my ears as I was coming out of sleep paralysis.

I have only had sleep paralysis during times of extreme stress or when I went keto and had zero carbs. For me it's always related with stress. You guys might want to fix your diets or something.

It's more like being really deep in the sea for me, luckily I haven't seen shadow people or anything like that, the thought of it happening though actually prevents me from sleeping, along with nightmares and a massive fear of dying my sleep.

It's gotten to the point where I think I actually have somniphobia, fear of sleep if you haven't heard of it, unless I'm at the point where my body is trying to make me automatically go to sleep it's real difficult.

I want to induce sleep paralysis out of curiosity but too much of a pussy

Op here, I tried to induce it too before this incident, stayed still for 53 minutes and nothing happened. It just happens randomly for me.

when i nap i tend to get sleep paralysis

>hear someone come through the front door
>wonder why my dad is home so early
>hear them walking up the hall
>see the living room door open.

My first experience was some scary shit.

>played resident evil earlier that day
>didn't know control and got hacked down by chainsaw guy
>dream that night
>getting chased through a dark corridor
>chainsaw sound ringing in my ears
>wake up
>sleep paralysis
>chainsaw sound still ringing in my ears
>cant move, cant scream
>paralysis finally over
>no more sleep that night

>wake up
>unintelligible whispers coming from everywhere
>feel pressure on chest
>can't move, have trouble breathing
>open my eyes
>see black silhouette standing at the foot of my bed
>dark empty spots where its eyes and mouth should be
>whispering increases in volume
>start hearing a high-pitched scream combined with increasingly louder white noise
>ears are physically hurting (technically impossible because it's all mentally constructed)
>this goes on for who knows how long
>eventually fall back asleep exhausted
>wake up for real, covered in sweat and full of adrenaline

The sound was the worst part, never experienced something as terrifying and agonising.

>room is clear
I was honestly glad it happened because it made me feel a thrill and it was quite interesting.

Endured it once, while trying to induce oobe, lucid dream or whatever retarded bullshit.
Just woke up, opened my eyes but couldn't move. Strangest feeling, i tried to scream but no sound came out of my mouth.
I told myself that my body takes care of it's functions like breathing on it's own every night, so there's nothing really to worry about.

I didn't encounter any shadow men, no owls, no aliums tried to probe me in my bumhole. Disappointments all around.

>see black girl waking down towards her bed
>turns around
>she has no fucking face, just pitch black

>normal human joints can't possibly move that way
>completely silent
>cannot breathe
>she slowly fizzles away
>suddenly can breathe
>wake up in a cold sweat panicking and gasping
>probably yelled but don't remember sound coming out
>nobody there
>time passes
>black girl walks in again
>oh god its gonna happen again isnt it
