Sans is the only one who knows the fuckery with everything being reset and the world being stuck in a loop. He has no reason to care, since everything will be for nothing anyways. Even in the good ending, you see him walking back into the same direction he came from. He only attacks you because your path will lead to the destruction of the entire world, or it being fucked forever.

Yeah. Sans is only one that really understands what's going on. Flowey thinks he does but in reality he's being played as well.

I also think he's a fallen human either disguised as a monster or turned into a skeleton somehow. It would explain how he's much, much more powerful than everyone else and is almost omniscient. That, or he's a metaphor of some sort of god or something. At the same time I doubt Toby Fox has the ability to create something so deep.

After I beat a game I only ever look up the characters briefly but that's kind of cool wish I looked in more on sans. I always thought he was just some uber powerful character but was really lazy. I never understand these gamers that play games a million times and look in on every little detail, shit like dark souls.
