I live on my own and have "survived" on bennies for 2 months. It's fucking horrible, my rent is relatively cheap though and I have a one bedroom flat.

I'd say if you want to live comfortabley on bennies you need to be paying for a bedsit somewhere around 270 quid all bills included, then you can really live.

You can make soup from the thick skin on the bottom of your feet.

I find usually have a nice hot bath then when you come out scraping the "cheese" off the bottom of your feet into a cup. Usually when I have about a cup full of the skin I put some water on the boil, about a cup and a half will do to get a some what manageable consistency. Anyway boil it in the pan for about 30 minutes then let it simmer. It'll froth quite a bit so dont leave it unattended, I got the TV in my kitchen so it's not an issue fo rme.

Anyway you'll get quite a nice soup at the end of it, tastes sorta like kitchen but the best part is it's completely free.
