Yeah.. Graduated with CS degree thought I was going to get one of those 75k/year jobs everyone talks about in the industry starting out. Me? Get 50k/year starting out. So it's not always assured, and is highly dependent on her level of connections and effort. Or maybe a graduating pharm student is just handed a 100k/year job out of school merely because of the degree, I dont know.
