You can have multiple channels, anon. And if you wanna monetize them, you can link them all to the same Adsense account.

I never put all of my eggs in the same basket. It's better to diversify. Sucks when you get too carried away by one channel because you won't feel like bothering with the rest and that might hurt them. Also your "ranking" within YouTube will drop if you don't upload at least 1 vid per week and your views will tank. It's how YT deals with inactive channels, it just prioritizes active channels for its search engine results.

Holy fuck. I don't know what happened to YouTube, but ever since August / September of 2016, you can no longer have a controversial title / description. All the top youtubers have made videos about this.

If you make a video about "terrorism" or "israel" or even write "attacked" or "beat up", your video will get auto-flagged as "non-advertiser friendly". The most advertiser-friendly videos are now in unboxing channels and kids channels.

I swear youtube is getting cucked and making us all cucked like never before.

I've been recently thinking of getting back to Jewtube video making since my videos seemed to garner some sort of attention (1k-5k views etc). Problem is those videos were cringy Gmod stop-motion animations and I've no motivation/time to put that much effort in. So, robots, I would like to ask your opinion. Haven't uploaded since summer. I love recording and editing videos but I had to move to study a career and I don't have my PC here. I basically upload h3h3-like content but in Spanish. Spain is completely flooded with reaction videos, "Try not to ________" challenges and gameplays so I thought it could be nice to bring that format here. I feel like shit because I actually started to gain some subscribers and people seemed to enjoy my content. I've been in Youtube for almost 7 years and my subscriber count is quite depressing so that gave me such a good feeling...

I got my first check back in October. You have to sign up with adsense.
You have to link a bank account with the adsense.
Then you have to link your adsense and youtube channel.
Once you reach 100$ in your adsense they will transfer the money to your account. My first check was only 107$. I only have 33k views though, and 406 subscribers.

Yes I will get more when I build up enough again I guess. I only ever got that first check. My next month I only made like 6$. Since my first check I have only had like 22$ credited to my adsense account.
I stopped putting videos on youtube because my computer took a shit and I had to get a new one.
I think I will start doing overwatch loot box unboxings and cracking hearthstone packs. I play both games and dont mind spending the money on those games for the extras.

You have to self-promote and shill if you want to grow your channel guys. Post on reddit, 4chan and other message boards and social media. Making good content is secondary to promoting your channel.

Question to those with a channel, it may sound stupid but whatever, would it work if you open your own videos without adblock, do the views count and the views of seeing the adds count?

I've been thinking about uploading replays of a game I play competitively but I'm always playing music in the background. If I am not monetizing my channel and I'm just uploading them to the community as unlisted videos through the forum, will YT still give my account strikes if it detects I have certain songs in the recording?

Let's say for example that I am listening to Billy Joel while playing for 40 minutes. I upload that and nobody except the people from the forum can find my video through the link. I expect it to get less than 100 views on average too. Is that still against YT rules or is there any way for me to keep listening to music while I play?

I believe they do. But if you do that too much adsense will pause your earnings, then all earnings during the pause will not be paid to you ever. Also they could ban you from adnsense. Just dont do it.

No one needs to report you anymore. Youtube has some sort of system to automatically detect copyrighted music. I have uploaded a video before with copyrighted material, set it to private and it had only my own view and it still got a copyright strike.
