Went to the gym after a few months of hiatus, did a ten minute run, 8x3x15 resistance and 10 minutes crosstrainer. I'm badly out of shape and plan to just do high rep low weight to ease myself into it again for about a month. Is this a solid idea? It's surprising just how much you go to shit when you've been away from it. For example, my sides and shoulder hurt last time I ran and the side of my bicep was straining on pulldowns. It's all the support muscles as much as anything that forget what they're there for.

My mum is such a doormat it upsets me.

Two different 'friends' of hers have asked her to look after pets for them and they never asked for them back and she never asked why and keeps them because they're better off with her she says, even though she can't afford to look after them.

I can tell from they way she behaves she is riddled with anxiety and has a poor self-esteem.

I was with her at a family friend's house and her 'friend' was telling her to make drinks for her all night.
