I done this, it was a trial for this pack of Maoris that assulted and sexuality assulted this women. They were very intimidating, tattoos all over their faces etc.

There were like 60 people called in for jury selection and for some fucked reason my name was called first..

The lawyers didn't object to me but lucky I thought of an excuse as I was walking up, had exams due and the judge annoyed, let me go.

Ausbot here, I did Jury Duty last year and it wasn't too bad actually. Just alot of sitting and listening about the case, talking about it with other jurors in the jury room. We got to have nice meals at the Hotel next Door for free. The only downside of it is the obnoxious waiting hours, especially just to see if you're gonna get picked for a case or not. Lucky for me I got picked for a case that went on all week long, got $560 just for sitting on my ass most of the day and talked to an old guy about politics every day, nice fella.

I don't have a driver's license. What would happen if I got a letter in the mail? American
