I recently deactivated my Facebook account as a compromise because my friend and his girlfriend were feeling hella awkward because they were receiving recommendations to friend exes because i an others are still friends with those people. I refused to unfriend them and just deactivated it instead, which I think has caused a sudden, small rift to form. This is the exact type of shit that pissed me off about Normiebook since it became a global thing: all my different social circles merging in a big awkward mess.

I kind of miss being connected to people but at the same time don't miss the bullshit, but I can't bring myself to fully delete it.
