It's great but not so far as to be my favorite

Definitely MOTY 2013 or whatever year it's from.

What parts of it did you like, OP? I can recommend you more like that. The atmosphere, the music, the acting, script?

I mean it was okay like four years ago when it came out. Good but not a classic or anything. The best part of the movie is the soundtrack. That Desire song in particular is really good.

Well that's a tough one. Off the top of my head I can only think of Kikujiro (1999)

Note that it's nothing like Drive but that it has a similar relationship as driver and boy

The Neon Demon was better

Drive is probably my 2nd favorite movie of all time next to Taxi Driver, which ironically both are about drivers with a crazy side to them. I've watched it countless times. The aesthetic, pacing, music, etc is just pure kino. As an autist I've tried to mimic some of his characteristics and mannerisms, but I can't pull it off because I'm not a Ryan Gosling Chad.
