Too risky. He's putting all of his eggs in a basket which may not pay off. Elon could get cockblocked by a simple law or regulation and he'll lose everything

because for a lot of them, once they become a billionaire, they'd rather just run their company and do normal philanthropic things

They don't want to go through the hell that is starting a company again, several times over. Especially in competitive and high initial cost industries like him.
