You know they've done research on what makes someone liberal vs conservative? They found that the best predictor is the extent to which someone feels the emotion disgust: not over just political stuff (i.e. gays kissing, interracial marriage) but even stuff like bugs and poop

This supports my hypothesis that conservatives are unable to be reasoned with logically. They let emotions rule them and are irrationally attached to arbitrary cultural rules and standards. That's why you see so many stupid poor white people in the boonies that are conservative, (black people being "liberal" can be explained in terms of gibsmedats)
