I let my gf cheat on me several times and I encountered several benefits:

It's a lot of reasons OP. I think part it is literally being evil and getting off on what they can "get away with" essentially. Being entertained at their own ability to deceit.

Also women tend to get into relationships for alternative and dishonest reasons, like dating a guy so she can use him for his money and connections. But she's really not physically attracted to the guy so she goes out and finds someone hotter to actually give sex too.

You have to couple this with women's inability to ever be wrong about anything ever or feel guilt or shame over their actions or take negative responsibility for themselves. Men can see why cheating is bad and harmful and don't do it or regret doing it. But for women, they don't give a shit about hurting other people and only see what pleases them in the moment. So they rationalize cheating way more. That she is in the right for doing it, unlike a man who usually will confess and say they were wrong. Men have a greater reputation for cheating only because they're honest and confess. where women don't see anything wrong with it when she does it herself. only when it's done to her.

Then you have the fact that women have more chances to cheat. They get offers from guys way more than guys get offers from girls. So when she wants to cheat, it's readily available. It's like being a kid in a candy store where no one will ever tell you NO! She gets what she wants, extra dick and men don't respect each other or themselves enough to give it the cheating hoe enough.
