Anyway the reason I'm single is because I'm very insecure, afraid of attractive women, always suspicious of their motives and sexual history, and I've been a virgin for so long I've come to accept it and have given up on the opposite sex.

Most importantly I am extremely sensitive to embarrassment. Is it the most potent emotion for me, to the point where I can vividly remember every instance of being embarrassed or humiliated dating back to childhood, and STILL feel uncomfortable about shit that happened 20 years. The idea of creating yet another such memory by approaching a woman, with my dearth of experience, is anathema.
