Guys, is it incest if it's my very distant aunt? I have some half brothers and sisters from my dad that left all of us. When I was like 12 or 13 I visited them and there was a girl there. I visited more often and long story short we live in separate states but she keeps saying she loves me (in a relationship way) and idk who to ask? I'm 19 and we've been talking since and physically we've held hands but that's really it. Should I go for it? She's my half siblings stepfathers half sister and I'm just uncomfortable if we're too related. Help

Incest is "wrong" because 1. possibility of deformity in offspring, and 2. it undermines stable relations within the nuclear family. She isn't blood so #1 is irrelevant. And she is a distant relative so #2 is irrelevant. If someone still doesn't like it, why do you care?
