day 1 no alcohol no weed. woke up today having drank 7 pints (not beers, pints) 3+ shots and drunkenly bicycled to burger king, accidentally drank bong water and spilled it on my clothes, and just hating myself in general so decided to go clean for a while.

I'm a little drunk, and I take prescription seroquel to calm me down and help me sleep.

I don't think you really do get addicted. When I ran out I was okay for awhile. It's a weird experience because it can make me feel good or feel good and kind of funky too (headache and nasuea). So I take it easy to lessen the side effects.

I don't know how you don't feel those. I always have a headache and feel weird the next day. So I try to only do it every other day or space it out.

But it does feel good.

I smoked some weed and took 15mg of hydrocodone. I have no opiate tolerance. Hoping to have a good lasting buzz.

Opiates completely reconfigure the way your brain feels pleasure. Even if you have ironclad discipline and you take it every two weeks, you'll eventually find yourself spending those two weeks looking forward to getting high. When you do other stuff that should bring you enjoyment, you'll find yourself thinking "This isn't nearly as good as getting high". And it's not fun to spend your life looking forward to the next time you get to do opium because your brain knows that nothing else even fucking compares.

It's not that simple or easy to attain a morphine / codeine high. Firstly, the preparation process involved is painstaking, and the alkaloid concentration varies greatly from batch to batch.
