Depends on the person. Normans assume everybody wants to live, or should. Biologically, it's true. It's why those that are miserable are often unable to go through with it, or successfully anyway. Self-preservation is a strong instinct to overcome, even for people who truly want to cease existing. Normans think if you kill yourself, you were weak and cowardly, but Robots should probably see it as the inverse of that.

It's difficult to kill oneself. To do so successfully and not end up as a bedridden carcass, and to have the willpower to get it done knowing that you don't know what, if anything awaits after your earth departure.

Well, that's now I see it. Not to ramble, but it's very complex and the answer differs by person. I don't fully people into living lives they don't wish to live. Who am I or anybody else to be stopping others' attempts at doing what they may very well see as the solution to their problem(s)?

Nobody ever asks or consents to being born, and they should at least have in life, the autonomy and sovereignty to end it.
