Nope, the country was still in a huge recession until FDR got the judtification he needed to join in WW2. Because the men were iff to war, factories massively hjred women to make military equipment. This required more workers to build the infrastructure to make the supplies. Thus, more women was hired, and the money kept rolling in. This stabilized the economy and got the US out of the depression for good.

So, robots. What do I do? Should I lie on my resume to get a job or be honest and say I have no experience whatsoever?
