Be people will never like you for being a decent and genuine. If you're nice and smart, but you act like a weirdo, they'll still be uncomfortable around you. It's very unfair, what comes natural to you is just so bizarre to other people that you have to be heavily medicated and make a huge effort to be a part of the pack. I, for instance, like to pace and talk aloud when I think, among just being sort of an odd person in general. I'm never really mean as far as I know, and people compliment me on my work ethic and intelligence. They don't particularly like being around me though, mainly because the way I like to operate makes them uncomfortable, not due to any great personality flaws per se, just character attributes that are bizarre.
