That doesn't sound like a therapist at all. I dealt with people who were specifically there to stop suicide (my doctor is a retard who lept to conclusions that it was imminent) and they called themselves the 'crisis resolution team'.

well to be honest I don't know if he has an actual degree in anything. He's just someone my mom hired and paid sessions for me. She says he helped her out, but she won't say with what or what problems she had.

He hasn't even diagnosed me with anything yet. When I asked him about it he said something like, "Let's not worry about definitions" and then makes me talk about how pathetic I am some more.
