Does the idea of oblivion after death scare or calm you down anon?

I don't feel either way towards it.
Before I was a theist I was a materialist atheist who thought my consciousness would end immediately upon death. Didn't bother me at all, still doesn't (despite knowing the opposite is true).

Both. When I feel bad it makes me feel better, but when I feel good it seems terrifying.
My brains gonna stop at some point and I will be gone forever. It does seem to make your personal problems seem more insignificant.

if I'm feeling suicidal it calms me
it almost never scares me
It's nice knowing that I won't go to Hell, but it's scary knowing that this is it.
it's probably the only thing that calms me down.
It doesn't matter whatever you do, all the times you fail and all the times you're embarassed, there'll come the time when no one remembers your existance, and that is peaceful.

It's quite soothing to think that I'd finally be able to rest. But also somewhat troubling that my struggle would end once my body does.
