Also it's funny you say that cause she plans to declare Japanese as her major but I don't think she's that much of a weeb, as far as I know. She might just be concealing her power level, but I think I know her pretty well by now. I don't think we're quite at that point where I can invite her over to watch something, but soon.

I agree with you on the this is the right time to close the gap type thing though. It seems like this is the point where the feelings for each other can come out if they're there. I like to think she has some sort of feelings for me for the reasons she listed but who knows. I kind of just plan to escalate things slowly, maybe get things a little more romantic, start giving her hugs and stuff, and see how she responds and she'll probably get the message.

I've thought about this way too much but I like to get a second, third, etc. opinion

I'm kind of a weeb and I've read up some stuff about the language so I know a few things but definitely way less than her. Enough to make little jokes/discuss random shit about Japanese with her though.

Okay yeah, she has followed through whenever I bring up hanging out. And when we finished up with lunch the other day right before we were about to part ways she brought up going to the library together (something we kind of had the idea of doing a little while ago) without me saying that. So I guess that's good.

I also know we have some common hobbies cause we are both in the band here so there's that. We kinda know the band so we talk about that a lot. We also both like college basketball and I get really into talking about that (I try not to get too autistic) so there's that as well.
